Looking for a gently used EOS1V body. Not interested in a high shutter count professionally used and abused one but someone who bought it as a hobby, lost interest in film and gave it loving care. I want it to get back into film and it is smaller that my A2 and this is my main reason for it.

I do have one but I don't want to part, because I still shoot film. You say it's smaller than your A2? It sure is bigger than my gripped 5D MIII.

Yes the A2 has the HS motor permanently attached where the 1V it is a separate attachment. I do not need the 5fps for landscape or Architecture as buildings seldom run away. (Except for the jail house in Jerome, AZ that has moved a block or so on it's own but rather slowly)

I know but they are ragged ones on the web site. They have one on Ebay too but a bit pricy.

Contact Steve. He used to work for Canon. Now has a shop in Reno Nv. He's fixed the EEE error on three of my Canon T90's.

Good man to talk to, and I think he often sells Canons as well.

Can't say price will be better, but the camera will be right and probably refurbed by him.

Did each of my T90's for $100.

Architect, the EOS 3 is a great pro camera, I love mine and will not give it up as I shoot film once in a while, just a thought.

Several are available on e-Bay, but with a price to pay for a good one; this was, perhaps, the very best 35mm film camera EVER MADE, EVER! Are you sure about its size? It usually comes with the "Power Booster," and that pouts it into the EOS 1d catagory, size wise, and performance wise, by the way. The shutters were usually rated for 150,000 actuation; that's a lot of presses on the shutter release.

Good luck in your searches.

I keep looking.
Right now the free money is tight with wife having several surgeries not being covered due to obama care that would have been a few years past.

Yeah I know of people that it helped and of people it made worse, bureaucratic BS, they can't get it right!
