very nice composition and excellent photograph. Having photographed food, for my personal taste I would do this:

- move that red pepper on the right side to the front middle
- lightly cover the peppers with olive oil.
- (Optional) spray with glicerin (wet looking) or just with water on the olive oil.
- Make light directional) move my light down and back and to the side more (experiment)(diffuse it if you could)
- get more shadow on one side of the peppers
- very low ISO
- tripod

These things will make the colors richer and the shot more dramatic and food more inviting. But that is what I would do.

Very nice colors. You are getting a lot of reflections from your light source though.

Thank you for you advise. I will try to do this in the evening /if condition permits/.

First figure out what is causing it. Repositioning, redirecting or diffusing the light source is usually needed.

Thanks for your advice. Yesterday I was using just 1 source of light /LED flash light cowered with cup having small hole in its center/ and painting with light my still life in the dark living room. Today I tried different lighting variation but could not receive good result ? I was using day light in room, buil-in flash, Nikon SB-600 as a slave and on camera, I was changing angle and distance of my lights. I could not avoid reflection. When I could reduce refletions my pictures were flat. Any suggestions ?

This picture has less reflections but in my opinion it is flat.
What is your opinion?

Looks like your lighting is heavily overhead.
Maybe use 2 diffused light sources, not too strong, one to each side around 45 degrees and higher than your lens. Slightly longer exposure and increasing your in-camera saturation settings. I don't shoot still life at all, never have. But I shot professional glamour for several years and thats the only lighting experience I really have, never had to work with highly reflective subjects in close quarters like this. But I love a good challenge!

If you have any white cloth, you could use it for a defuser.

OK! It's finally gotten to be too much for me!
Advice vs advise. Advice is pronouned as in ICE ... advICE ... as in "I would like your advice on how to best use apeture settings." Advise is pronounced as in EYES ... advEYES ... as in "What would you advise I do about that?".

Whew! I feel much more betterer now that I have got that there off my chess ;)

As I looked at this image, it seemed like it was floating in space, I would anchor them with a slight shadow on the table. The color is very nice, but will pop using the suggestions in this thread..
Good luck!
