Yes it is... yes it is! It is not what do I need with an AR-15 type Rifle for, it remains why not? It is my right to own one. And to be able to by ammo for it!

That's good, now criminals can continue to blast right through those pesky bullet proof vests those police officers wear!

By what logic did you come to this conclusion? Banning these .223 does not ban criminals from getting their hands on them and using them as they wish. Does taking someone's driver License's away for DUI stop anyone from driving? It certainly don't stop them from drinking? People still break the Law by driving without Insurance.

Only the innocent will be punished... isn't that the way it always goes?

We must remain vigilant. obama and his pathetic gun grabbing cohorts will not give up on this. They are constantly thinking of ways to subvert our Second Amendment rights. Granted, the BATF did walk away with their tails tucked between their legs, but don't expect this to be the end of this issue.

Do you even know what a .223 round is mostly used for? I didn't think so. Your obvious lack of knowledge on this bullet disqualifies you from an intelligent conversation on the subject. And could you tell me there Einstein, just how many gang banger criminals use an AR-15 on police officers?

So glad to see this intelligent decision. It was just last month when I was out deer hunting and low and behold an 8 point buck pulled up in an MRAP. If not for those armor piercing rounds I would had to eat mcdonalds for dinner.

Frank, why are you against guns? Because they k**l? Of course they k**l. What is your chance of k*****g someone? That is if you owned a gun, what are the chances of you personally k*****g someone? I will tell you. You have the same chance of k*****g someone that you have if someone wanted to k**l you.

What if someone was trying to harm you with a knife or a hammer and you can not escape... would you shoot him?

What difference does it make if you use a .223 or a 9mm? Dead is dead. Now, you may not deer hunt or target practice with a rifle but if you owned a AR-15 I doubt very seriously that you would want to go shooting at cops with one. <ONLY CRIMALS WOULD DO THAT> and banning a particular ammo will not stop them.

Do you have any statistics regarding M855 ammo (that BTW is specifically NOT designated by ATF as armor piercing) to substantiate your obviously uninformed comment?

Please provide ANY evidence that M855 ammo has EVER been designated as armor piercing. Then you can talk about intelligence.

Let me just see if I've got this right. Owning any sort of weaponry that you want, is a fundimental right. But gay marriage and smoking pot are illegal. Even though nobody has ever died through some body else getting married to who ever they want, or through somebody else taking any form of drug.

Provide a link where a police officer has been shot and k**led through a vest with this M855 green-tip ammo. If you can't then you are just full of hot air. Congress says there has not been one case. Not one!
