February 12th 2014 we lost our eldest sheltie Zoe, she was 13 and three weeks ago we lost our next eldest sheltie Paddy, he was 11. They bless our lives for such a seemingly short time but the years of joy far out weigh the inevitable. I know that Paddy is running with his sister and that one day I shall see them both again. My heart is heavy again right now, need to go and look at all of these wonderful furry kids that you have all posted!

Our little girl will be 12 next month. Sadly late last summer she went blind due to retinal atrophy. She is coping much, much better than I would.

Thank you for your comment. You certainly understand how I'm feeling. Your dogs were beautiful. I think Shelties are one of the prettiest breeds out there. I still get teary when I think about Spike but I know it will get better.
