What a great story and pictures. You kitty could be a twin to the one I have been feeding for the past ten years on my morning walks, the only thing she has most of one ear missing, bitten off by a raccoon.

Hi there let me introduce myself. My name is Sabrina. And I am just over a year old. I was called Midnight but my new Mom did not like my name. She adopted me last Friday from the same shelter that my brother Dug came from. Guess some of you know Dug. He is a thief as you know. Well so am I.... LOL

It could be the shelter that we come from. But my Mom had a small bag of peanuts. I kept trying to steal them. She finally put them in the cabinet. Now I can not get them. But that is ok I got the bread out of the container and started eating that.

So she now has two thieves in the house. Dug will steal anything. For now I just steal food!

I am sure Mom will be posting more pictures. I think she has a pink dress for me to wear. Oh great. What did I get myself into!

Beautiful pictures, Camshy, might I even say portraits. It is a very difficult task to get good pictures of an all black pet; we had a black Lab for 13 years and unfortunately have very few good pictures of her outside with the kids. Unless you can get very close up, an all black pet mostly comes out as a black blob unless the lighting is just right. I found the neither kids or pets will wait for that. :(

Ooooh!!! I ADORE Black kitties! And they (and black dogs) are always the ones who never get adopted so... KUDOS to you for adopting one of the unadoptables! She is beautiful! Congrats on your new fur baby!

My black male, Shogun, is no longer with us, but I certainly understand the attraction for black cats.

Thanks for stooping by Bob. Sorry Shogun is no longer with you. Sabrina is my 5th black cat. I think they are pretty darn cool!

You are welcome. I hate seeing animals having no homes. Not sure if she is dainty. LOL

Thank you for taking the time to photograph animals waiting to be adopted. That is very sweet of you. I plan on enjoying her. She loves siting in my lap!

Thanks for looking Mike. Glad you liked the story. Had to make it fun.

Thanks for making sure her twin gets a meal on your walks!

Thank you JCam and thanks for stopping by.

I have another black cat (Dug) that I have posted on here. I guess I have been lucky with taking pictures of black cats. They seems to come out pretty good. But she was a challenge. Every time I hit the button she would move or just not look at me.

But yes not sure which is worse, taking pictures of animals or kids!

Thank you! And thanks for looking and the thumbs up.

I will never understand why people do not want to adopt black animals. She is the 5th black cat I have had. And I have had two black Labs!
