Hi everyone...Hoping someone can help me with an issue I am having with PaintShop. I use the clone tool to remove some things from background and it has been working fine till yesterday. When I went to use it is not picking up the color to cover the item I want to cover. Instead it produces a mesh type pattern over the area I go over. I have not (knowingly) made any changes and I am not sure if it is just a reset some where. I am still trying to learn the product so I am still do not know where everything is. I was checking the docs but could not really find what I was looking for or if I really know what I am looking for, to get it back to the default Cloning.. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance!!

There is a drop down list for what you want "clone" to do, normal, light, dark and a long list. In help there is an explanation of what some of the odd ones mean.

I saw that as well. It is set to normal and I have never changed anything in there either. Thank You..

It sounds like you may have selected a pattern to use with the Clone Tool, look at your color pallets, right side of the window, and see if either foreground, or background has a pattern showing.

Thanks everyone for the responses.. I reset all my preferences back to default and it is now back to what it used to be...
