Love the little one. I'm hoping for some around the dock this year, as Jack now seems to be a Jackie. A very big boy has been making nightly visits to see him [her?].

Thanks Molly, usually have a bunch at our dock but a GBH move in so the pickin's probably were pretty good.

I know what you mean. As much as I love he GBH, it saddens me when I see them feasting on baby Gators. Mother Nature is not always nice. I'm sure that you are aware of the fact that out of every 100 Gators born, only 1 will live long enough to reproduce. The large majority will perish within the first 2 weeks of life.

Seems to me that either the gator is tiny or the dragonfly is huge ....

Cool shot. I once saw a dragonfly on the tip of a Gators nose as it was swimming down the river. No camera and I was bummed.
