1) How long have you been into photography and what got you started?
Got a bit more serious about photography after retirement 4 years ago though I have been interest in it for many years
2) Do you have any formal training and what kind of photography do you do most?
No formal training.. like to do landscape and people pictures
3) In your opinion, what makes a good picture stand out from the rest?
I think it starts with good composition though all the other key elements - exposure, color, sharpness have to come together for a good picture..
4) What equipment did you use and was there any special setup? Can you walk us through it?
For this picture, I used the Panasonic FZ35.. No special setup other than making sure that the exposure was long enough for an indoor picture under very dim lighting condition. Picture was taking in the Chihuly Glass and Garden museum in Seattle.

Though I shoot in jpg, I usually adjust my images using Lightroom 5. For this picture, I did tonal adjustments and sharpened the image.

My father was a great amateur photographer. So I was exposed to photograph at an young age.. My brother is also an avid photographer and I learn from him.
