Hopefully, we are done with winter and ice. I had some cat food on the porch table and who should show up but my resident wren and of course, one of the starling gang that eat me out of house and home. So here are a few celebrating the last storm of winter. Next up is six straight days of rain! But at least it's in the high 50s, low 60s! Of course, I may have to build an ark!

Yeah, I'm voting for the cardinal here, too. Outstanding shots, Amy. Hope you get that warm weather, rain or no rain.

Thank you for your interest, nana. My favorite is the Starling. I love b/w shots and this one came out of the camera that way. My other favs are the tree and the cardinal. I don't often get sharp shots of birds because I don't have the lens for it, so these really made me happy. That also goes for the little wren. I'm just happy he stayed still long enough for me to get a shot!

Fantastic artistry on these, Amy! Love the starling image (though I hate starlings :) ), the cardinal, the trees.
