these are my first post.i took these shots with my tamron 70 to 200 canon mount.camera is a 60d very little editing in lightroom3.any comments welcome.
These are very nice! White birds are one of the hardest things to shoot. Very hard not to blowout the feathers. You did good :-D Lets see your second post :mrgreen: Erv

I forgot to mention to. Sygilligan did say she would like to have seen more refection of the Swan in the Water. I agree with her, Think ahead before taking picture at what would be a fantastic Shot!!

Went to the park yesterday since it was 73* out and I too took a lot of shots this one swan was very co-operative. It was tricky with the sun so bright to get good close-ups and not loose detail. Here are a couple. I posted more on the main board.

Al: Nicely done! I would increase the exposure just a little for #2. Enough to bring the Swan to a point where it is nearly white but without blowing the highlights. As it is now, the bird looks gray. You should have plenty of latitude to do that since the highlights have lots of detail.
