One college summer in the 60's I worked for a company that serviced international flights at O'Hare. (We had secure jobs and drinking on the job while experiencing long waits for delayed flights was never addressed.) Things that were broke included multiple suitcases (we had a heavy twine we used to keep them together) and once a case of rare Scotch Whiskey that fell off the unloading elevator. Since then I never bought fancy hard luggage and expected my luggage to be beat up on plane flights. For many years I tied a small rope around my luggage.

Neat video - thanks for sharing...
And an interesting story at the book site -
http://www.davecarrollmusic.com/book/The fact that his song resulted in United's stock going down 10 percent, shedding $180 million in value is a true testament to the value of social media (and a lesson's learned for big business)
This happened about 5 years ago to a gentleman from the Halifax area.He tried to get the airline to recompensate him for the damage. They refused so being in the entertainment venue he proceded to write and produce this video.Posted on Utube and it went viral. He was invited on talk shows here in Canada and also in the U.S. He was a hot commodity for a few weeks after the release.
If I remember right I do believe that the airline did pay him for the replacement.
Thanks for the post.
Musical push back, I love it!
