Yes, it is a good price, but the D7100 and D7200 have come along since. That's going to lower demand.

I have two D7000s - you've got a great deal on the camera so long as you don't feel the need to have the latest model.

The D7000 is a great DSLR, no matter what the D7100 and D7200 have for a feature set.
If you aren't flush with cash, the D7000 as you describe it is a great deal and you'll get years of enjoyment from it.
