I can't find the "emoticon" button on my camera.
Is it on the top, bottom, left, right, front or back? My camera is a good one. I like it. "Other People" use useless/inferior/inadequate equipment. Their photos suck. Just sayin' Too much Moire.

It's only available on some models of some manufacturers. Since you didn't mention the camera you are using, is it possible that it could be labelled something different? Perhaps, you should call the manufacturer's help desk.

It sits atop the sensor. When you purchase the kit, it should include a jeweler's hammer and cape chisel to remove the pentaprism. It is accessible through the back as well, for which you will also need a miniature wire nipper.

It's the one labelled "Do not press this button" Press it and you get the message on the screen " This camera will self destruct in 10 seconds, if you pressed this button accidentally please enter your 37 digit code... you have 3 seconds remaining".....

The reason you can't find it on the camera is it's not on the camera. there are special cards that have them. They have tobe specially ordered from only Sandisc. There is an additional cost of course something on the order of $450,000, Which is why they are so rare.

It's on the front cover of your manual, that's probably why you missed it.
Take the camera and rotate it 180 degrees in your hands. Now, make any face you want and shot. Then simply Facebook that emoticoned selfie to the world!!!
