Closest I have ever been to a deer, beautiful.
I wasn't able to get very close to the Elk, but it was great watching them play.
As my wife and I were driving, we thought we would stop and let them go across first. It didn't take much smarts to make that decision.

Nice pictures...just a little flat.. use your histogram tool in your editing program and add a little saturation of color, love the buffalo..

These pictured were taken out on the refuge somewhere around the visitors center. My wife and I live in Lawton, and we go to the refuge often to take pictures. These were the best yet.
these pics remind me of my 2 years in the US Army (artillery) at Ft Sill. Still have fond memories since they are long term ones :lol:
