I wrote a post about my experience in trying to get my Weebly (free website software) removed from my domain, so I could start over with wordpress. It is in the General ChitChat section.

Basically, I just want to let you, my "peeps" take a look at what I have so far. I don't have all the packages, etc, done, but I do have the "bones, and basic layout finished.

We actually get a lot of good referrals from High school kids that wear our "I got shot" with our logo, web address, and "who can we shoot for you" Did have one kid sent home from a Lutheran High School. All in all, Since we started out years ago, and are known as "shotgun portraits", and I'm the one trying to get away from the name, and migrate into a little less "hillbilly" company, it is the one concession I still have to make for my business partner. Ex cop, LOVES the "shotgun portraits" name. Maybe if I get enough comments about it not fitting very well with wedding photography, I can get him to give it up too.

I think it's cute but in this day and age you get people peeking at you for crazy reasons, it's all computer driven on the search ........

I know, baby steps. I agree 100% with you, but have to make concessions for the business partner.

He's seriously getting very bad with muscular dystrophy, so I don't know how much longer he'll be working. We stay busy enough for now, so I'll give him this little bit until he retires. (soon)
