I think I remember he has a Tamron 150-600mm. More the reason for me to get out my Visa and order one!!! Beautiful pictures. I am holding for the comparisons between the Sigma Contemporary and the Tammy.

I'm anxiously awaiting delivery of my Canon 100-400 today. Couldn't handle the dollars or the weight for the 600s.

using a D800 and Tameron 150-600 shot in program mode something I usually never ever do but worked well on this day thanks for looking and your comments

its a great lens for the money you have to fine tune it and find the sweet spot and at 500mm i think works well and then some cropping I,ve heard the new sigma sport lens does a good job as well but have to spend twice the money on it

I was looking to buy a 400mm or a 500mm but after using Ervs 300mm and a 2x on it last summer carring that around sold me on the tameron Erv just got the new 80-400 Nikkor and loves it he also has I think 150-500 sig but stays with the Nikkor

Hi Angela glad you like them, the eagle was cropped quite a bit and you wonder what they're thinking looking at us 2 looking at them and its always a good shoot when shooting with a good friend and seeing these majestic raptors
