Yes folks, i actually bought the kit just so I could get a deal on the lens. I already have a D810.

Nikon has some items on sale for a limited time, but the 24-120 VR is not among them. However, lens with D810 is on sale for $3696.95, which is $903.00 off list, so I bought the kit, and I need to pass some of the savings on to YOU!

The current sale price on the D810 is $2996.95, which is a great price on a fabulous camera, but I'm offering my new one for $2900.00 even, and will include shipping and insurance (lower 48 states only,) or if you live anywhere near New Mexico, I'll meet you half way.

So, if your math skills are working these days, I'm getting a $1300 lens for $800, and YOU can get a $3300 camera for $2900.

This is BRAND NEW, just purchased direct from Amazon. I have not removed anything from the box, except the lens. Unregistered warranty card, should be no problem to register as your new purchase. (if anyone knows otherwise, please post here--I have no desire to rip anyone off, and I can return the whole package to amazon if I can't sell it here, or on eBay if no one here wants it, Just thought I'd give my UHH buddies the first shot.

I have a limited history of sales on ebay, and on Audiogon. I don't do this for a living, so I don't have dozens of reviews, but the dozen or so I do have are $100% positive. On ebay, I'm also "m00nhawk", but note it is spelled with zeroes, not the letter "o".

On Audiogon--where people sell used audio/ Hifi stuff, I'm plain old moonhawk. Haven't sold anything in awhile, so it may be hard to find my reviews, but I think you should be able to.

I can do PayPal, or cash if we meet in person. If you're interested PM me, we'll talk.

EDIT: Please see MT's post below. You will have to decide for yourself if you can register this in your own name.

It would be courteous of you to remind prospective buyers that this would be a USED camera purchase, and as such would have NO WARRANTY coverage from Nikon. Nikon warranties are not transferrable and the original sales receipt in the buyers name is required for warranty repairs should they be needed.

Thanks for that, MT.

If you're sure about that, I'll let your message stand. I don't recall having ever been asked to produce a sales receipt as long as I had registered the product online, with a US serial number. (Me being the original owner/purchaser)

But I respect your experience, and I'll edit my original post to advise people to see yours.
.
Makes no difference to me--If I can't sell it, I can return the whole kit to Amazon, and wait for a deal to come along on the 24-120.

MT is correct. You can read about the official Nikon Warranty policy at the following Nikon web page. It's a short read.

OK, thanks. Everyone is forewarned.

Still a great price on an unopened D810. Since it is USA, Nikon will repair it at your expense, before or after the one year is up. Which isn't likely to be necessary in the first year.
