Daylight savings time on March 8 2AM.... At last my watch will be correct again!
But the good news is that I have been showing up everywhere an hour early for the last few months. :-D

Always thought that DST was trying to make an 11 foot rope from a 10ft rope by cutting 1 ft off the rope aand tying it on the other end.

So do I. I wish they would pick one and stick with it.

Our clocks don't go forward till the 29th!!
I like you ..a nonconformist I hate these time changes.
What I hate is the time zone change in Indiana. It's not that big of a state. Far northwest corner and far southwest corner (but not the ones on the west side between the two corners) are on Chicago time. I just wish they would pick one zone or the other to be in and this time don't give the counties a choice, which is what happend last time.
At my age, it doesn't matter -- I work, play and sleep when I want -- what I dislike is dark from 5pm till what seems like noon during the chilly winter.
I love DST, just hate changing the clocks!

You are not the only one. Talk to farmers with animals and/or water rights, moms with new babies, families with teenagers or young children, etc. The airlines domestic and international always have to adjust for this twice a year. A big headache.
It original use is no longer applicable, it has been proven not to save electricity, because it is used earlier. Retail openings and events in some cases could just have summer hours.
Congress doesn't have the backbone to change it, few state legislatures have either. Kudos to Arizona and Hawaii.
I don't care whether we have railroad time or government time--pick one and stay with it.
I wish someone would please explain this DayLightSaving to the resident pets. They get really confused about when Breakfast Time starts!
Changing the clock was a real hassle when I had rescue horses and miniature donkeys. They work on what I called 'tummy time' and just waiting an extra hour to feed them was not an option, nor was feeding them an hour earlier when the time changed back. It used to take over a week of gradually moving their feeding time until we got them synched up with the clock ... and then a few months later we did the same flippin' thing in reverse.
I am SO tired of DST ... it's nothing but a hassle.
