you've just pissed off everyone south of the mason/Dixon line. anyone will tell you that grits will give you a case of the hot's for your sister or aunt, but not for your brother or uncle.

Once while on vacation in the South with my family as a child, we were having breakfast in a small diner. The waitress asked me if I wanted grits or taters with my eggs and bacon. Since I didn't know what grits were but I did know what taters were, I opted for the latter. I have never had, nor do I ever want to eat grits. I know now know what they are, and this study verifies that, as I always suspected, there is something sinister about them!
