I know there are a few E-M1 users here so I thought that this would already be posted. Maybe I missed it.
Olympus announced yesterday a Firmware update to the E-M1. When updating I also found an update for my 14-40 2.8 Pro series
I applied the update yesterday as soon as I got the email from Olympus. The lens update is 1.1. Body firmware is 3.0. Haven't tried the announced change which was step up in High burst mode rate to 9 fps while in continuous AF ("C-AF"). Has anyone else here tried max frame rate in C-AF before and after update?

I haven't done it yet but the buzz around the internet is that the results are great with the new C-AF. I've seen some posted tests that were impressive. May be a big help to those of us who shoot birds, pets or fast moving children.
I always wait a few weeks on firmware to see if there's a bunch of problems reported, but so far this one seems to be making people happy. Another good piece of news: it won't overwrite your settings like the old firmware updates did.
