Superb photography, I have no experience in cold weather but don't your fingers get numb in that freeze?

I wore close fitting gloves, so it wasn't hard to manipulate the camera.

I don't envy you the trees you're going to lose, but I certainly appreciate the beauty in your photos amy.

My neighborhood did not have much damage, but the areas north and east of us had a lot of trees and power lines down. One of hubby's shooting buddies just this morning got his power back on, so he was a week without it. Others on the plateau still have none. Tennessee is not equipped to handle stuff like this, so it does stress the power companies.

Amazing shots Amy. They document just how bad all that ice was for you folks. I hear a few people are still without power. Sure glad that warmer temps are not far off.

We had a monstrous ice storm last week. The power is still off in many communities east of us on the Cumberland Plateau. It's higher in elevation than Sparta, so they got more than we did. It did a number on the trees and birds. I do feed my birds so they could stay warm because they had food all day.

Amazing shots - glad you are safe

These are amazing shots, Amy! Wow, you sure did get an ice storm! If I had to pick on as a favorite...I couldn't! They're all wonderful and well done!

Nice work once again, Amy.. The Morning Glory pod encased in the ice is an amazing shot. Ice is pretty, but it does a lot of damage. Hope your yard survives the worst of it.

My yard survived nicely. All our trees are young, but they held up well. The shot with Jack is also on our property border. Amazingly, not very limbs went down. We usually get limbs down in storms. It's very open here so the wind gets a running start, I think! lol
