Went out to see the Eagles yesterday after work. Was waiting to see both of them and turned around and saw the Moon.:) First blue skies we have had in a long time.:)

Thanks Jim. Was a good time in a lot of ways! And if I see the Moon the camera already knows.:):) I think they call it a reflex reaction.:):)

Thank you Craig. No I had the 80-400 on the D300s. That gave me a 600mm with the crop factor.:) It was a little cold to play to much.:) But look out when it gets warm. We have to get the shots now before the leaves pop out.

Nice shot Erv... I didn't get a chance to take any pics of the Moon lately... always cloudy here... I might get a chance Friday night... only supposed to have 50% cloud cover... with my luck the 50% cloud cover will probably cover the Moon.... :(

Thanks Bruce! About the same here. If it is clear I am to tired to go out because it is to cold.:) work has had me humping the last few months and we have had a lot of snow to move around too.:( This weekend is looking pretty warm. But they are saying rain changing to snow Sunday.:(
