I sold your D700 and got a D3. Now wish I had the 700 back with the D3. Decisions, decisions! Might pick up a good deal on a D610 for a back up.
Good luck with your tripod search. I saw your ad and went back to fredmiranda.com, as I thought there was one for sale there, but it was a different model Gitzo.

Hiya Joe! I'm surprised you sold the d700! I sold it because I switched to m43 (Olympus). The d610 is a good camera! Take care!

Yes it was Bruce! I really liked that camera, but lusted after the D3 for a little more speed. Must have been a GAS attack for sure. I as looking back and in the last 3 years, have bought and sold the following: D5100, D80, D90, D7000, D700. Current and only D3 now. Wow! I must have really had an attack. lol
