Trying Some Heavily Cropped Shots...

I've never cropped so much off my shots, but I wanted to give it a try and see how the quality looks....

#2 is fascinating: your angle of view, the symmetry of the wings, and that the attack looks like it must hurt :)

Great shots! I think #2, 3, 4 look best on the download. Especially #3. You definitely captured the drama in #2! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

This is a nice series angela. If these are cropped, can you re-crop number two to include more wings at the top. Great timing for the shot. :thumbup:

Very nice series Angela! #2 is most interesting with its drama and the arch of the wings!

Thanks Linda glad you liked them. That fight did last a few minutes and I caught it all in burst mode!! He had him pinned by the beak the whole time!

Glad you enjoyed the fight!! That actually lasted a few minutes and I caught it all on burst mode, frame by frame!!

Maybe the gull in #3 wouldn't shut up. lol What an enjoyable variety, Angela, and I love watching goofy gulls. Beautiful!
