I want to learn MORE.
Good evening from Ohio. Its a cold, wet and just a down right yucky evening. I have always loved to take pictures, and am sort of a "ham" myself. (guess thats where my daughter gets it from..LOL) Anyway, I have read up on whats the best time to take pics, and have read my owner's manual at least a dozen times. I even took my oldest daughters senior pictures, due the fact I was not going to $500 for pictures...I feel I did a pretty good job. She was pleased, and thats all that mattered. Any suggestion are welcome. :) I have big shoulders, and can take it. Thanks in advance.
My oldest daughter's Grad Pic
Sweet. I feel like I know her from this natural pose and clear colors...
Beautifully done! No need for any suggestions. You got it!
Looks pretty good to me, nice pose, bright, clear and much less than $500. Bucks!! Pat
Hey Angel- To my thinking you've got $500 coming to you to spend on gear :-D . What are you using?
Angel,
Well done, but I would have put the subject off center to add a bit of interest and you could have used the leading lines of the tree to draw the eye to the subject. Cropping off the exposed arm and just having the blue of the shirt at the bottom also makes for a stronger composition.
I think you did a good job but it could be better with a little tweaking.
Do some research on the 'Rule of Thirds' and 'Leading Lines' and I think you could improve this portrait some.
Just my opinion,
Eric
