At the Zoo on a hot clear day.
Well it was a learning day at the Zoo, with so many things going wrong.
The front of the Zoo points due East.
The Zoo does not open until 10:00am
It was a clear, but hot day.
After getting into the Zoo it was a good 45 minutes before I could get to the first the animals.
(So many people and all the little kids all jacked up on sugar).
Had on new sun glasses (UV and Polorized)
So much hard light
Hard light bouncing off all the cement.
While moving the setting form AV, Manual to PV, I dialed in Exposure Compensation
(+ 2/3).
So this made every picture come to hot, but they can be saved in PS.
Anyway it was a good day and I learned something.
Any day is a good day you say 'I learned something" and can fix it tomorrow.
I agree that stroller-hell day at the zoo is not worth the effort. It seems that people with a stroller think they a special right-of-way and push through running over whoever would be in the way. Getting hit while pushing the shutter button without an apology is enough for me to avoid those days.
