Definitely, shooting star trails is a SUMMER event :)

It was 28 degrees on the beach (no wind) and 40 degrees at the old church. When I'm shooting, I know how to layer! Haha

I prefer shooting startrails in the winter, due longer nights, allowing longer shoot times, and longer trails.

Very Nice! But I do see considerable noise. I wonder what they would look like if the RAW were treated with DXO Elite Prime Noise Removal first.
