Yesterday was so nice that my wife and I decided to take a quick drive to the beach. It always amazes me to see folks on the beach (and in the water) in the middle of winter!

We were nearby at Jensen Beach yesterday---Sun felt great but rained when we got back to PortStLucie base...better than the 4 degree temp at home!

Sure, rub it in, Howard! While we huddle around the warm coffee pot :)

Thanks Lamar. Yep, our two or three days of brutal winter appear to be over ;)

Thanks for looking Robert. Yeah, we started clouding up some as the afternoon wore on, and I thought we might get some rain, but it just stayed cloudy. We've got beautiful blue skies here right now, and the temp is already over 70F. I might have to go up to St. Augustine today.

Hey oldtigger, thanks for looking. By the way, there is plenty of housing (both new and older) available down here, just sayin'... ;)

It's easy to take a walk on a beach when you live in an area that has only two seasons...Spring and Summer.

We've been in Deep South Texas for over twenty years now. When we first moved here, I bought some Christmas tree light that operated on 12 volts. I took them and a Christmas tree to South Padre Island. I stuck the tree in the sand and hooked up the lights and took pictures of us around the tree. We sent them to our families in North Dakota and Minnesota as Christmas cards, What a hoot.

Hey cjkorb, thanks for looking. That's not quite true... we do have about weeks of fall (in December), and maybe, just maybe, a week of winter-ish weather ;)

Hey tramsey, thanks for looking. I didn't go that far, but I did taunt friends and family for the first couple of years I was down here ;)
