My hands aren't as steady as they used to be and I can't always set up a tripod (especially when standing in the road). Is anyone familiar with the Kodak Monopod?

Feel free to recommend a good, similarly priced monopod.

Please, no lectures on spending more money. I can't afford to.

Thanks for the input!

I use the cheaper Walmart version. I own three of them. I use them mostly on the hand held video cam's. My wife uses them as walking sticks (serious). She likes the adjustable height. I"ve never had any of them fail. I will use them on my larger len's occasionally. The quick and real easy to use.

Any monopod should work for you. I bought one that came in a zippered case. I don't recall where I got it or how much it cost, but I'm sure I wouldn't have spent much money on a monopod.

thanks for the input. I almost pooped my pants when I saw a Manfroto monopod for $293 (US). I think it was made of platinum!

My personal opinion, the simpler the better. I see that the Kodak has base support legs and some kind of head attachment that has swivel head. Looks good but I think it would be somewhat useless and in the way.
