Bats!

Just curious. Has anyone tried photographing bats? They are, in spite of the negative publicity, beautiful animals. I have a bunch of shots of swarms, but few close-ups.

We have two bat houses on our garage, and when the weather gets warmer, and they return, I'd like to get some shots. I'll set up a tripod and get them leaving their houses. You have to be ready before it gets dark because that's when they start flying.

They are so damn fast I'd think Flash and a lot of luck and persistence to do it.
