Move existing Actions into an Action Set? How?

I have a bunch of Photoshop actions that I'd like to keep together. I can create an Action Set folder named "New" in the Actions Panel.

It seems that I can create a new action inside "New" but I can't find how to move an existing action into it.

How can I put these actions into folder "New"?

Here's the answer. Scroll down to "manage actions"

Thanks for the link, but nothing seemed to work. The actions simply would not go into "New" no matter what I tried.

Then, in frustration, in the main system folder listings, I double clicked one of the actions I was trying to move into "New". And it suddenly appeared in my Actions Panel -- not as an action but as an Action Set. When I opened the set, the actual action was inside. And then I merely moved the action itself to "New". Wow.

So thanks again -- for giving me something to poke around, into, over, and through to make me keep at it.

I'll try the actions now . . . .

I haven't grouped them recently. I have found the ones I keep loaded all the time sometimes get scrambled a bit when significant upgrades are done on the CC plan. Not a big issues but sort of odd. Good luck.

Hmmm. Did not work.

So I looked at the instructions for one of the actions. It wanted to execute another action, "A", in the set named "A1". But I had moved "A" into "New" and deleted Set "A1"because I wanted all the actions together in the same set.

When I re-created Set "A1" and put "A" back into Set "A1", it worked.

So I guess I can't keep all those actions together after all. It's a hell of a way to learn.
