Going to put one of these in Senior Games photography category. Advice from the experts would be appreciated.

I think the first bluebird is in a unique shot and you can make up something good for a caption.

The third has merit too as a defender of his domain though not as strong as the first.

If these are going to be judged then number 1 is your only option. The others would lose you points because you have chunks of bird missing from the frame.

No download enabled on number 1 but it looks on the thumbnail as if a little sharpening of the bird only would be a good idea. Leave the background as it is.

Good luck

one is a unique shot but I like the last one - it's as if one lil' birdie wants some love & the other one is saying..... no! :D

No. 2 for sure. The anticipation of the landing and the composition are most interesting. Good use of rule of thirds.

I actually enjoy #1 the least, for the fact that it is rather symmetrical and static because of that.
That much said, it is a cute series with all three of them, as I think I already mentioned.

. . . . which IMHO (contest aside) is what gives interest to the composition. It leaves the eye with the sense that there is more than one can see.
#1 is cute. . .but is positioned sort like SPLAT. . .like a bullseye, as it were. (I am sure these were not easy shots. . . so it is not a criticism of that, rather, what I personally feel about composition.)

You are free to disagree.

I like your story theory. Senior games is a fun thing, so I don't get too serious about it, but fun to win. Actually got a Gold medal for a bluebird picture last year.
