canon SX 60 screen went blank

I was trying to help a friend who just got a Canon Powershot SX 60 HS. I accidentally hit something that caused the display on the LCD screen to go away. It plays back images fine, etc. but I cannot find anywhere in the manual as to how to get the display (what you see in the viewfinder) back.

Can you see through the viewfinder? If yes, there is a "display" button on the back (at least for the SX50) that toggles through LCD, LCD with grid, viewfinder, viewfinder with grid. Just keep toggling :)

I am not with the camera right now, but I can see through the viewfinder fine (and see the display). I think I did hit the "disp" button when it disappeared. Will check it out--thanks!!

Your choice is to view either through the viewfinder or the display. the toggle switch is on the bottom of the back function wheel.

I did the same thing but I can't find the display button. How do I restore my view through the lcd display?
