Love the shots. I am really interested in what can be captured from a small plane as I have a standing offer to go up with a friend who is a pilot.

First & foremost it really helps to go up on a clear day. Try to hold the camera as steady as you can. You can shoot most anything below. I like to shoot from about a 1000-2000 ft above. Small planes do not go as fast so it surely gives you a good opportunity to make great shots. Take a a lot of photos because many usually come out blurry. Good luck on your journey. Would love to see your shots!
Beautiful fall colors,You did a great job.
Beautiful colors, good captures Ann.
I'd sure like to see your pond image in Download.

Definitely take up the offer - on a nice clear day. I have taken some lovely shots from a friends 'plane. Unfortunately you won't be allowed to remove the door as a pro would, but as long as you make sure the window is clean and you note where any permanent marks are located before you start, you'll be fine. Don't lean the camera on any part of the 'plane or you will get vibration. Good Luck, and post the shots!
