A couple of winter black and whites

The winter storm gave Fayetteville, NC ice, a little snow and some more ice. There wasn't enough snow to really make things pretty but there was enough ice to bring things to a halt. I managed to take a few photos and a couple of them I thought looked pretty good in black and white.

Your photos are good - the subject of them not so much. I am concerned that we may have our first freeze of the winter and you have reminded me to be thankful.

Thank you, Carol, for looking and commenting!! I don't like the ice and was limited to taking photos from the porch where it was covered and did it get iced. I wish you warm temps and NO ice.

Those do look nice in B&W. But sorry even in the B&W they still make we colder! Be safe if you are out and about.

But hey don't worry we are going to -4 tonight and -14 tomorrow night! Snow coming this weekend! I wonder where it could be nice and toasty other then my oven!

We don't have a lot of snow but it has been colder than usual. I don't have to go out in it much.

It snowed here last night but didn't stick. Most of the ice is gone but there are still some patches here and there that will probably take Sunday's 64 degrees to finally melt.
