Hahaha. Thanks. The first photo was taken with the Canon 400mm 5.6 L + 2x III teleconverter, essentially a 800mm f11 manual focus lens. So, I didn't have to drop the camera and pick up the bat. With my luck I would been hit by the pitch. I think I'll just stay behind the net.

Great shots, sure won't be going to any games for a day or so with the snow and ice we got the last few days ( we didn't get it near as bad down here at the bottom of the hill as you got ).

Those shots are terrific !!!! I live to learn how to do that, ha! I have a 16yo high school pitcher and love to take pics at the games. Roll Tide here but my Dad was a grad of UA so Whoooo Pig Sooie !!!
