It is so frigid...and with the fields snow covered the Hawks are forced to do some serious hunting. That's good news for photographers...they are willing to sit there longer before they fly from the area where they're hunting!

OH yes, and still trying different settings each time I go out. When I get
back to my eagle nests I am going to use the 100-400L II without the
1.4XIII and give it a work out. mdh
