This is the plumbing side of a 4'x5' 500deg 300psi autoclave we use to repair commercial aircraft cockpit windows For B737, 757, and 767.
It was originally built for McDonnell-Douglas Electronics in the early '70's for about 900K. We literally stole it a couple of years ago for about 20k at a foreclosure auction in Florida from an aircraft window repair facility that was shut down by the FAA and US Marshals... cost more to move it than we paid for it. Being 40 years old, it's kind of grungy. I wanted to make it grungier...

Both shots are fine as far as composition goes. (Interesting pipes and cylinders and such). The second is visually more appealing to me.

I wouldn't say the HDR really brought out a lot of detail from the original but I like the appearance it gave it. It contains an interesting subject and the composition is good. Overall I like it. Good job.
