I am selling my 70-200/2.8G VR (NOT VR II) lens so that I can update it to the current version. This is a USA model and includes box, case etc. as purchased. It has had a filter over the front element since purchased, and is in excellent condition with no dings, dents or scratches. This lens is available for $ 1200.00 plus shipping by desired carrier. Could you send some pictures and some assurance the lens is free of fungus, mold, etc. Maybe a picture or 2 taken with this lens?

I assure you that this lens is in perfect condition. I will take some pictures of it and with it and post them here or get them to you. I may not be able to do that today. Thanks for asking.

I assure you that this lens is in perfect condition. I only sell my own equipment when I am upgrading. As it is my personal equipment, I take good care of it. I will take some pictures of it and with it and post them here or get them to you. I may not be able to do that today. Thanks for asking.

Besides the VR 11 function, is the image quality pretty much the same as the current production lens? Or is there a significant difference? Thanks-Mike

Not having shot with the VR II, it's hard for me to say. I know folks have complained about the focus breathing on the newer version and the new one also lacks the focus hold buttons near the front of the lens. I am more interested in the N coatings.
