Not sure what it has to do with people photography, but this is really cool.
Can you share what you did, maybe post a photo of your set-up?

Thanks Tom..no photoshop what so ever! This is purely macro/close up refraction photography. The only editing is basic raw photo edits and some cropping! Glad you like it!

Oh- I didn't realize that I put it in the people seciction! opps...maybe I should ask a mod to move it for me?

My set up was a homeade light box made out of white foam board on three sides and a removable piece that I take off and put on the top when needed. I use one off camera flash that I direct at the background. Then I tape a photo/picture/object to the background, upside down. The speedlight will freeze the water along with illumniate the background which will then reflect into the water. I place the light on either the right or left of the box, either slightly inside or outside the box. It is trial and error. I have a bowl of water inside the box and then I dip objects into it. My camera is on a tripod across from the background. Hope that makes sense?
