Thanks Jerry, it's hard to not take beautiful shots in Tortolo. What a beautiful island.

Nice picture and beautiful boat. Wish I was down there with mine instead of here in the frozen mid-Atlantic states region.
Were you in a plane or on a large cruise ship?

On a large cruise ship. Last day of our cruise. Wonderful time.
Its a lovely shot relie, but perhaps remember to either look at the horizon when you take a picture or correct with PP, ---sorry to have a little grumble,
Geoff

I took it that way because I wanted the close up of that beautiful boat.

Hope you enjoyed the warmer weather down there. Some years ago we chartered a sailboat for a week out of Tortola; had a great time and came home to a couple of feet of snow in the driveway!
The change of climatic conditions when you got home must have been a shock to the system. We lived in Andover, MA for 32 years. Especially with the amount of snow they have been getting, I'm very glad to be "from' there. :D

you can still have a close up and a straight horizon. sorry, but the slanted horizon kills this shot for me

Handsome Stays'l Schooner. Traditional lines with lots of overhang. Todays modern design will top it in performance, but she most likely has a better ride and for sure looks better.
I'm with you Jcam, 16F here this morning...can't wait for spring to get the Crealock out of the harbor.
If the horizon kills the shot for Geoff, that's his problem. He obviously views the technical issues as much more important the the beauty of the shot. I feel sorry for him. Jim

Give the guy a break! It's an easy fix with almost any PP software, and it he wants to send it to me, I'll fix it and return it to him.
To be brutally honest for all you critics: like Relie I was more interested in the boat and didn't even notice the horizon until the second time I opened it, and know what--I still don't care!
