It was a cloudy day so I upped the ISO a little. The eagle was just finishing his meal when I photographed him or her.
Distance was about 120 feet at 600mm.

Canon 6D - Tamron 150-600mm - 1/400 - f/7.1 - ISO @ 1600.

Always impressed by the quality you get from the Tamron. Really fine Eagle pics. I think that last year I had 3 opportunities to get decent Bald Eagle photos - they are a rare sight here in my NJ area.

Thank you, dugole. I am digging into my inventory of eagle shots of the last 6 weeks for these new photos that I haven't posted before. I mention this because the Bald Eagles left here about 3 weeks ago.
Don't give up on capturing some eagle shots in the future.

Thank you very much, Swamp-Cork. They are easy to process by using some contrast and definition in the right quantities and sequences. Nothing major.

Regis That Tammy does you proud. Are you shooting jpegs or raw. Even with an ISO of 1600 your Canon/Tamron combo shows very little if any noise and those images are so sharp. Washy
