I was fortunate enough to get this one on our local calendar cover a couple of years ago.
Sony HX200V bridge, auto setting, no PP, just cropped the date, electrical wires and road. Just a dumb but lucky shot.
Nice shot. We all have some lucky ones.
Jack
The composition is great and the mountains in the background make the picture very 3 dimensional.
Thanks for the nice comments.
I had to re-read your post twice before I saw the new forum group. Is this a requirement or just a way of grouping everything that has been published? Regardless, I'll do so.
Thanks,
Ron
Ok, re-read a third time after looking at that section of UHH and realized you said a scan of the calendar cover along with this photo. I'll have to get it scanned and will add it to that post.
thanks,
ron
[quote=cucharared]Outstanding catpure. I like it a lot. Please turn off your date code. All date and time information is included in your exif files. I am posting them. PM me or post if you can't see your data. David

The photo was captured in October 2012, which is obvious from the seasonal foliage as well as the digital date.
Your info is the date image was posted in January 2015. It is not Exif info.

That was one of my first photos on the camera and I didn't have a clue about the Exif data at that time. So, I had it set up to add the date. Just a few pics later I turned it off when I realized it really interfered with the image. Guess I didn't even have the date set correctly, huh?

Your 2012 date is fine; UHH member Meives confused the 2015 posting date as camera capture date.

You are right, the date is 10.10.12 in the exif file. My point was that it is not needed on the print as it is distractng from a great picture. David
