D7100/Tamron 150-600mm.

These were completely unintentional. I was lined up to shoot the Ibis on the ground when he suddenly took off. I managed to get three quick shots & luckily they turned out (well, sort of). Downloading will show better detail. For those interested, the settings were.......

ISO800, f8, 1/2000.

For unplanned, those are excellant shots. No.1 is my favorite. The blurred near wing gives the photo lots of motion, especially since the rest of the image is sharp. Thanks for the settings.

Nothing at all wrong with these, Earl. You have a good focus on the eye, and that's what counts IMO. I love the first one especially. It really shows the beauty of the bird, and the fact that it was taking off made for an interesting set of shots. Good work!
