Anyone use Costco for canvas prints? I usually work with someone else, but have a VERY small order for a canvas print, and got a coupon for $10 off. I know several people like them for standard prints. Anything good/bad about their canvas?

They are much the same as the online canvas print retailers; they send them out to print rather than print in store (at least at our two). I've used them but found the prices better at http://www.easycanvasprints.com/ with thier specials. You do however have Costco return guarantees...

Print quality is fine with both, I do my own print varnish over the canvas.

I have used Costco before. My experience has been good. The color detail is fairly good, canvas always stretched tight over the wood, and the turn around has been quick. Another place I found is the website in my signature. The color is far better than Costco, the back of the canvas is covered with a solid backing, and turn around time is 3 days to process plus shipping. The downside is you have to pay for shipping but the price was still less than Costco last time I purchased from them.

I'll check them out too. I used to print my own canvas with the Canon IPF8300 until it died after only a year. I went to the smaller Epson 3880 so I really don't have a good canvas printmaker.

I have went to Office Max and their price is about 1/3 of what photo outlets charge. The picture I did was from a 4x6 print and brush stroked in Photoshop to make it look like a Renoer style painting. It came out great. It was 20X24. - Dave

I kind of hate to even mess with it, it is only an 8x10. We don't have an Office Max here, but do have an Office Depot, I may check them out.

I don't want to skimp too much on quality, but this has been one of those "nickel and dime" people, that I'm about ready to just give up on.

Max and Depot have merged. I thought the print was great. These are flat not wrapped. Took about 15 min. too. I have had them do severel poster size prints too. I am a style. look, and feel guy and not a pixel peeper. So not a good judge of so called quality. - Dave

I will try Bay Photo. My goto lab for ultra high quality is WHCC.com. Priced higher than most but the difference is easily noticeable.

I use C&G (http://www.cgproprints.com/) all my wraps go to customers. I like this place, good prices and the work is good. The shipping box it comes in is like a crate. Makes a good impression. I just delivered a 20x30 to my customer for $52 which was on sale. that was a 1.5" frame.

I had some done by Costco and they were great. They do sub them out to a facility in Los Angeles area. Used to be if you desired, you could pic them up at the local warehouse and not pay freight. That may have changed.
