Can anyone suggest a reliable company to purchase a Nikon D7100 from. I just had a bad experience buying one from getitdigital. I bought a new one and they sent me a used one. In process of sending back to get a refund. Kind of nervous about buying another one. I know I could through Bestbuy, but was wondering about other companies.

Sorry to hear that Beth.
But you are in very good company now.

Welcome to UHH. As I lovingly call the Hog Farm.

Here you can ask about your Photography and get good answers.
I believe getitdigital is one of the Don't Do It businesses I've heard about here.

If you stick with B&H, Adorama, and others who advertise here, you won't go wrong.

If you used a bank card to purchase from getscreweddigital, you may have leverage through your bank.

Welcome. We will help hold your hand till you get up and running.

Adorama, Cameta or your local photography store.

Not so fast...
That body has the Exspeed 3 processor.
Is that an older model?

My D3300 bought last summer has the Exspeed 4 processor.

B&H or Cameta are my favorites. Robert's Camera in Indianapolis is very good and personal too.

Sometimes known as the big 4. Can't go wrong with any of them. I for one wouldn't deal with any one else

I agree 100% but don't forget our own MTShooter owns his own store called Carters Camera Cottage. You can PM him here on the Hog and he'll be happy to help you with reliable information you can trust.

Thank you everyone for your input. I have bought things from B&H before, but it has been awhile since I bought my last Nikon and wasnt to sure who to go with. I was looking at one on B&H, but wanted to make sure that was the way to go. I have belonged to Hedgehog for about 4 years the date just changed of when I joined. Read it all the time but dont comment or ask to often, but when I have asked a question I really appreciate all the feed back I get. Again thank you all for the help.

I'd suggest you start on eBay. You can find used, refurbished (sometimes by Nikon) and new there, often for better prices than a store.
