You just keep turning out beautiful composites and PP manipulations.

I can't even imagine how much time and work has gone into all these you have posted.

I love them. Some will complain that it isn't pure photography. My take is that it is great art produced by starting with great photography and enhancing the images with great creativity and PP skills.

Hi Jerry,
I don't even know what pure photography is. I suppose we all have a different opinions of what it should or shouldn't be. All I know is that this particular image is made up of four separate images. All of which I took. I don't take anything from another site or from a person. What you see is what is mine. I then assemble them in a manner that I think will be pleasing to me. I'm so happy you respond in such a positive manner. There are those who won't like this stuff and I'm sure they'll glance over it and move on. Perfectly all right with me. For me. the gratification is in the creation. There, now that I've vented, I feel better. Thanks again my friend and keep in touch.
Joe

Very nice Joe. Your placement of the Ospreys adds balance and a forward movement

That is really creative. I love what you have done; and I applaud all of the tedious meticulous work required to get the image. (If you did it the way I think you did)

Than you Erich. That's so much appreciated. And just how do you think I did this? ;)

That would be the "get it right in the camera crowd" who don't want to see anything but images straight out of the camera or with an absolute minimal PP treatment.

I would say what I think of their opinions, but, the wife wants me to keep my language clean. Not that I cuss a lot, just the little I do she objects to. I am sort of fond of her and don't like making her unhappy. Lord knows, I have enough faults to upset her without cussing.

My guess is that the background is a sky shot with the "polar coordinates" filter applied. Then, I suppose you had to very carefully select birds from three different photos and "move" them in to the polar coordinates shot. Finally, you managed to blend the edges so that They look like they were always in the photo as posted. Am I close?

   Oh yeah! That crowd. Aren't they the ones who wouldn't get their film developed in case someone tampered with it, taking away the purity of the shot? Now I remember them. BTW you're wife is right. Tell her she has a twin and I'm married to her.

You are spot on Erich. I couldn't have described it any clearer had I written the tutorial. Good for you my friend. You have a good eye and you understand the process. I'm impressed. Now it's your turn.
