Thanks ejrmaine... I would have found it difficult to believe that you could get close-ups of the Moon like this with a camera and lens until I got my Tamron 150-600mm and stacked two Kenko Pros with it... it looks like a telescopic shot!

Thanks again Craig... yes that is the Tamron 150-600 mm at 600 mm + 1.4X and 2.0X Kenko Pro 300 TCs... also cropped image...

TCs (1.4X)x( 2.0X) = 2.8X; 2.8 x 600 mm = 1,680 mm
Camera Sensor crop factor = 1.6X; (1.6)x(1,680 mm) = 2,688 mm
Print Crop Factor = 2.88X per Photofiltre
Total Combined Effective Focal Length = 2.88 x 2,688 mm = 7,471 mm!!!
Comparative 35 mm Camera with standard 50 mm lens would calculate as follows...

7,471/50mm = 149.42X Zoom... if my math is correct... looking at the Download View would seem to put my calcs in the ballpark... more or less... :)

.
Thanks again Craig... yes that is the Tamron 150-6... (show quote)

That calls for a "WOW" Bruce. I'd have to work pretty hard with my Telescope to get that Mag.
