The meadowlarks and shrikes always fly away before you come up to them. But sometimes you get lucky and they pose. The Horned Larks always seem to pose for me.

I couldn't believe my luck with the Loggerhead Shrike. I was so close and it posed for a long time. *Happy Dance*
