Hi all, I wonder if anyone has any ideas about the following.
Last year I traveled to Europe and many other places and took many hundreds of photos. I used a Canon 70D and a 64gb SD card. I took about a hundred photos in Paris and then went to the Palace of Versailles, I took a few photos of the exterior then went inside and took a number photos, then left and took many more.
Here's the problem.
All my photos before going inside and all the ones after coming out all "came out" with no problems BUT the ones I took inside did NOT.
When plugged into the computer the images came out with "Can't open images file unsupported or file corrupted"
Any idea what happened do they have some "Jammer there"?
Thanks in advance. :(

Can you see the images on your cameras' LCD screen?

This is a tough one because there so many things that can be tried. I'll assume you have saved the card(s) everything was on and not formatted them. Please do not. Depending upon the card manufacturer, there may be a free recovery program available, which you could try. Perhaps an expensive choice would be to contact a data recovery company and get an estimate. To go much further, please tell us more. Manufacturer of card, software used to transfer, format shot, etc.. Some of us here may be able to offer some help.

Well Mate, 1 in 3 people are ugly.
So look to your left,
Now look to your right,
If both of them are pretty,
Hey... it's you.
Never been there, never will be.
But my guess is ghosts.

My dog made me do it.
He pee's on trees he has no intention of seeing again.
But I have an unfounded affection for Aussie's. Never met one I didn't like. ;)

So you walk from A to B. In A your photos are fine and in B you get TWO different messages as to why you cant view them? Go back to A shoot some more and the photos are fine?
Pilot error my man. Ice on the wings. In B you changed settings on the camera.
Those Frenchies are pretty clever but do not think they have jamming devices etc.

I will introduce you to my friend Grahams wife. She is an Aussie and a complete douche bag. He is stupid but fine.
I find myself unduly influenced by my dog as well!!!

Download the card and back it up. Then try a recovery program. There was probably one bundled with your SD card. If not there are lots of free ones floating around.

Oh we have those here as well. But we call them "Politicians".
I take the dog out to pee in the back yard.
And he waits for me to finish so we can both go back inside.
When potty training a Grandson, I taught him to go pee in the yard to prevent accidents.
One day he was playing in the front yard while his mom was talking to a neighbor.
You guessed it, he pulled his pants down and pee'd across the yard.
She was mortified.
I was proud of him when I heard of it. ;)

Cheers, bq40!
Sorry to hear of your plight.
Did you get any post cards, or coffee table picture books?
My wife does that to avoid heart breaks like yours.

What does his mom think a man has a yard for! I bought one with soft soil so I can take a dump and bury it easily.
It a morning ritual the dog and I share. he is a bit lax on the burying bit.
